A - Z listing of those flowers that do not appear in the categories above! Many are designed to create instant little groups or 'pockets' in the garden and should be planted as they are, not split up and the effect will be very naturalistic and charming. May also be used in tubs and planters, you can also if you wish enjoy them in the home by flowering them in the pots they come in, placing on a sunny windowsill or in the conservatory/sun lounge. As these are supplied ready growing, most will flower very soon.

 Arisaema triphyllum [each]
Triffid-like is certainly an apt comparison to this very unusual looking stripy monster with hooded spathes that can vary widely in colour from white to green or purplish, in most cases the flowers will be violently striped in appearance! A taller grower than the preceding species, at 2-3’. A magnificent plant for lovers of the different.

 Bluebells - Spanish. [hyacinthoides hispanica]
Spanish Bluebells. Almost indistinguishable from our English strain, these are strong plants that form effusive carpets under trees, laden with flowers in May. Mixed shades of white, rose pink and blue. An excellent, easy and economical woodland plant.

Bluebells English - Hyacinthoides non scripta
One of the quintessential idealisms of the English Woodland is the image of a carpet of exquisite blue, the quivering massed floral carpet of many hundreds of English Bluebells…… It is easy enough to create your own iddylic scene as the bulbs are perfectly easy to grow. Although at home in a woodland setting, they will grow in the border, or alongside a path, and in the sun as well, multiplying readily. You may wish to plant some in a wild woodland spot somewhere, to satisfy yourself that you have replaced just a few of the many acres of Bluebells that have disappeared through loss of habitat. My Bluebell bulbs have been grown from cultivated stocks.
Our Price £2.95     Quantity required:

 Calochortus Cupido
This most delightful genus originates from the America’s. The name Calochortus translated literally means ‘beautiful grass’ an allusion to the rather ornate orchid-like flowers and the grassy foliage. They are more closely related to the Lilies than Tulips. It is strange that these very beautiful and easily grown bulbs are not more popular. The tiny bulbs grow easily and the flowers with their curiously shaped petals and ornate markings, are uniquely beautiful. They thrive in a sunny spot with any well drained soil. Most grow 10-20cm’s in height.
Our Price £2.99     Quantity required:

 Calochortus luteus Golden Orb
Saucer shaped brilliant lemon yellow 3 petalled flowers with a speckled maroon centre. So exotic looking, but so easy in a full sun position. From California
Our Price £3.50     Quantity required:

 Calochortus superbus
Lilac pink to almost white flowers with a distinct lemon and black patterning in the centre. Forms carpets of scintillating flower in its native California.
