A great speciality here, if asked to choose just one bulb to grow I think it would have to be a Tulip. A genus of great variety with miniatures just a very few inches tall to superb mid border feature varieties of 4'; in bloom there are species that flower as early as February to the single lates that open their glorious blooms in late May. So many of them invariably produce an easy and glorious show, with petals that shine like the finest french silk, colours that can by turn be dramatic, regal, eyecatching, or as subtle and refined as the gentlest pastels. Another feature is the centre of the flower, which whilst the bloom is open can display markings and patterns as exotic as a peacocks tail feathers, presenting an entirely different aspect in beauty again.NOW DESPATCHED AS POT GROWN BULBS! Number of bulbs per pot will vary with variety but 3-5 per pot is the norm. Price is per pot, not per bulb. These are designed to create instant little groups or 'pockets' in the garden and should be planted as they are, not split up and the effect will be very naturalistic and charming. Maya also be used in tubs and planters, you can also if you wish enjoy them in the home by flowering them in the pots they come in, placing on a sunny windowsill or in the conservatory/sun lounge. As these are supplied ready growing, many will flower very soon.
